INTERNATIONAL DONATION- CHT COVID RELIEF

Help the Indigenous people of CHT Bangladesh

After years of conflict and hostile land settlement, many indigenous women in the remote hill areas of the Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh, are totally reliant on day labouring or subsistence agriculture to feed their children. Under Lockdown, work has stopped and markets have closed, leaving the poorest and most marginalised people in a highly precarious position. My friend chanchana chskma is there and I came to know about CHT peoples from her ! These women are resilient and need help to create a idealistic communities. I hope that in this time of crisis I can repay the many kindnesses I have come across. I know people have already started relief efforts, but much more needs to be done. $30 will buy this a food parcel that will last an indigenous family for two weeks. Your generosity will help 2000 of the poorest households in this region, through this particular violent storm.

This is a typical food parcel:

- Rice
- Oil
- Potato
- Daal
